With only HTML, CSS and Javascript at my disposal, I designed the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner a website that leads its state government in speed and adaptive design.
My work included the visual design of a custom wordmark, website look and feel and adaptive framework. And without a content management system or server-side programming language to leverage, I wrote a detailed custom Javascript solution for driving all of the website’s dynamic navigation elements.
The website is designed and developed with detailed attention to user interface and user experience changes between varying screen sizes, with very little overhead passed along to the agency’s staff.
I completed the project in collaboration with Anthro-Tech in September 2012.
